I have taken 6 tests, all negative, am taking lots of medicine and have not had a period. I am overdue by 3 weeks.

No- medications would not affect a pregnancy test. Your best bet is to see your doctor for a blood pregnancy test, as this is the most accurate way of testing. Other reasons for period abnormalities include stress, weight gain/loss, thyroid, hormonal imbalance, infection, illness, polyp, cyst, amongst other reasons. If the blood test comes back negative, your doctor can do further testing to determine what the exact cause may be.

Taking hormones can result in a false positive, but no, there are no medications to cause a false negative. Many medications can affect your cycle however. Suggest you discuss this with your doctor.

You have period problems, or sometimes urine tests are not effective, try blood test.
