Well he say's that because supposly when a girl has her period it smells like some type of fish but most commonly a tuna fish according to survey's, studies and scientist. Lets say if you was to enter in a womens locker room with a majority of them having their period while the wear dressing would cause mostly everything to smell. Know some girls don't notice the smell because they are really use to it like a guy is use to his armpit smell or fart.

Just tell him he is hanging out with the wrong women! Real women dont smell like that. He needs to stop paying for it if you know what I mean! :)
