The people who actually work for and on Channel 4 television, are given employment contracts which contain clauses relating to race -relations. They know that if they break any of these clauses, they can be sacked and not be paid , because they will have broken the terms of their employment. This is why we rarely have any of this trouble with regular programs and actors/presenters. Reality programs are made up of members of the public, who do not have to conform in the same way, once they have had their 15 minutes of fame, they don`t care even if they are sacked, so it is much harder to control their behaviour . They result is all of this atrocious language, outbursts of ignorance and racism etc. These people are `one offs` not people who want to make TV their life career, so they have no incentive not to behaviour badly, if that is the way they are inclined.

Isn't it about time there were a few sackings at Channel 4?
There's obviously some serious errors of judgement being made by the channel
