I look at the steps to settling this continent by our european forebears. First was exploration, discovery and trade. Then come a breakdown in trade, through practices. Then next came the protection of trade and trade routes. There have not been any wars in history that have truly been fought to alleviate human suffering. The vast majority of wars have been fought, by todays standard, from corporate dictation to governments, who in turn rally the troops.

Yes many times over. Religion is power over the people and everyone wants as much of it as they can get.

most all wars/killing are over religion. take a look at history you will see it is the biggest killer
Heres an example. Take the american indian that was slaughtered basically because they didn't believe in our god
