Something with Red Clover or Black Kohosh. See your naturopath or health food shop for more information

I find there is no one "best" treatment. Every woman is different. And even after you find a product that works for you, your body is changing during this time of life so it may not work at your next stage of perimenopause.

Look for a supplement that contains: Vitex (aka Chaste Tree), Dong Quai and Black Cohosh.

If you are also having trouble with mood swings, take vitamin B-1 and the mineral Boron, too.

My favorite product is called Menopautonic and is made by Herbs, Etc. in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Here's their site: http://www.herbsetc.com/Shopping/m/menopautonic.htm

Most women say it helps with night sweats, low back pain, insomnia, hot flashes, mood swings, stress incontinence, tiredness & irritability.

Along with the ideas above.
I apply peppermint tea bags to my arm pits and tape with surgical tape. Sounds crazy but every time I start to sweat the peppermint tea bag cools me off. The nice thing about this is that I know what triggers my hot flashes so I try to calm myself down. Have you researched maca. I am testing a peppermint oil patch to see if this helps. I also have horrible pit odor for about 4 days out of the month so I wash with baking soda at this time and it works wonders.

I have used two different ones. The first one was recommended by the Health Food Store and it did help, but for some reason made my joints ache. Then I started using Estrovan w/Black Colash and I love the results!!

Good Luck & Blessings

PS: Remember to seek the advice of a Health Practicianor before starting any health regimine.

Soy. Eat, drink lots of soy products, which contain natural estrogens.
