I am getting married soon, and my old photography teacher is willing to take the pictures for a low cost and give me a cd with all the pictures on it. Now, it is a lot cheaper, but i notice that the more profession photographers cost +10x as much, but they can make an album called a coffehouse album, and one photographer even has a super small (less than wallet sized) album that it adorable. Does anyone have any idea where i could get these albums made with regular pictures i have? I want good quality, but i don't want to spend a couple thousands just to get the photographer to do it.

It's also called a coffee table album, and it's a type of album that the pictures are printed right on the album, and not just slid into it like a regular photo album.

Check out these websites: www.photoworks.com or www.blurb.com, they cater to the average person wanting photo books.

This is how the photogs make a living. Have a picture calendar made at Kinko's, or see how much it is to do a small spiral bound book. Take the CD and print your own pics and put them in inexpensive plastic-sleeve albums.

You will have to go to a professional or commercial photo developer. You need to look them up on google or yellow pages and call around. Or simply ask the photographers who does their printing, some of them are dumb enough to tell you. The thing is that they give big discounts to these wedding guys because of repeat business, they will charge you out the wazoo for it.

Make your own albums. Go to your local crafts store (like Michaels or Hobby Lobby) and ask if they do classes. You can also get in touch with a Creative Memories consultant. www.creativememories.com

Have fun & congratulations on your marriage.

Try a good arts & crafts store. They always have cute picture albums of all sorts. I even saw albums for weddings.
