If you are talking about Hillary Rodham Clinton, please say so,
she does not appreciate those who hide behind
non-identifiable personages.
Yes, Hillary is a lot of things some good, some bad, remember
beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
But she has done some good things for the people she represents, too.
As far as political experience is concerned, sure, she could
have more, but I see no reason to block her wishes to run
for the US Presidency, thats her choice, this is America, not Soviet Russia or Red China.
I believe, in Hillary's own mind, she is convinced she could do a better job, as President than many other competitors, living
or dead, (the dead she doesn't have to worry about)
Hillary has an impressive academic record, Wellesley
finishing school, Yale University, post graduate , LLB degree,
she has done well for herself, academically.
As First Lady, during the Clinton Administration regime, she sat
on important committees, such as oversight and steering committee for the health care of the nation.
Perhaps their recommendations didn't go anywhere, but that is
not Hillary's fault. All she can do is analyze, review and recommend, as those committees don't make policy, they review
existing policy, and make workable suggestions toward improvement, where necessary.
Hillary is a competent administrator, make no mistake about it,
and she wants the top job in the United States, I think she deserves it, and most undoubtedly, she will win it.
Some of the election elements you may consider, she has the
following or backing of the lion's share of women, both single
and married, w/children, who live in the United States.
These women will influence their men, and the men will no doubt vote for Hillary, because their wives want them to, most men won't admit that they listen to their wives for voting politicians
in office, but the real truth is many of them actually do.
Hillary has had to put up with strange antics fostered by her husband Bill, but I believe his weird behavior won't hinder Hillary's
chances for becoming the democratic nominee for the US President.
There may be other contenders, but they can't hold a candle to Hillary, because Hillary has a name, and eveyone knows what she stands for.
Some opinions have held she stands for the "new world order"
concept, where globalization takes place, and we have a
world police force, not local, regional or national, this idea may
not be practical, in view of the many communities there are
in the many cities, throughout the United States.
Hillary has some new ideas about government and it's management, but we will have to see what she means, after she
gets elected into the Oval Office.
Several issues that I know matters to her is immigration, the war in Iraq, energy independence, national security, and national health, prescription drug costs, the war on terrorism, the beefing
up of all US borders, to seriously discourage any terrorist entry
into the USA, the US economy, and lesser issues on the priority
list, or presidential agenda.
Its been said Hillary is luke warm on attending US military
concerns, I don't believe she is, but we will have to find out, as
time passes, what her position on the US military is.
I believe Hillary Rodham Clinton would be an excellent choice to
nominate and win the office of the Presidency of the United States, she couldn't do any worse, than George W. Bush, who has lost his way in steering the ship of state(the USA) into
stormy waters and dark territories, he is making all the wrong decisions, especially in the area of foreign policy, and is too stubborn to admit he is wrong, and turn the ship of state into
a new course and heading, the way we are going now will lead to
anarchy and chaos, in one form or another.
We have until January, 2009 left of dubya's leadership, thank God
his watch will be over, at that time.
Thats my message, good luck

PS: I don't think Hillary is selfish or presumptuous, I don't get
that vibe from her, she is competitive, and she is very smart,
but I don't see her as arrogant, or filled with hubris.

People voted for Jimmy Carter. They voted for GWB. They voted for Ronald Reagan. They ignored a Bill Bradley over Al Gore, Jr. based on what? Utlimately, the winner of the Dems will be the next President, as last year's results have shown America's displeasure and the Dems are the opposition party this time around (something that helped GWB didn't it?). The GOP isn't grooming a replacement, probably because Dick Cheney is set to retire -- and he pulls the strings. Hillary's done nothing. No one will ask her still about Whitewater, Vince Foster's files, travelgate, etc. etc. because she IS a Democrat afterall... that means, she's got a cakewalk of this "can a owman be a President" hype which equals free promotion for her. This guy Vilsack has an opportunity - as Bill Clinton did... if he can show himself to be a centrist, in a field of fringe choices?
