Jerry Jones wants to go to a full time 3-4 defense so he will more than likely go with a coach that is well versed in that scheme. Personally, I think the best choice here would be ex-Steeler Bill Cowher. Firery personality, proven track record and 3-4 coach defensive minded. All 3 things J.J. would like. Only problem is that Cowher comes with a pricve tag and that would be the Cowboys 1st round pick in compensation. Mike Singletary would be an interesting choice but there's a bit of history beetween Singletary and the Cowboys that isnt exactly friendly. Another good possibility would be Ron Rivera, the Bears defensive coordinator but the would have to wait untill after the Super Bowl to even talk to him. Russ Grimm is looking for a head coaching job now as well. He is the Steelers present offensive line coach.
Whoever it is, it will have to be someone with a very strong personality and some sort of a proven record in order to deal with T. Owens otherwise the drama that surrounds him will pull a good team right back in the crapper (i.e. 2004 Philladelphia Eagles).

there has been alot of names coming up ALREADY even though Parcells has only been retired for a couple of hours but here are the names that were brought up:
Bob Stoops - Oklahoma Sooners Head Coach
Bill Cowher - Giving the Steelers 1st round pick and trying to convince him to return to the NFL
Norv Turner -
Dan Reeves - he would be the only coach who would beable to work the GM and coaching with Jerry Jones
Charlie Weiss-

I am waiting with utter anticipation to see who my beloved Cowboys get as their new coach. I can't stand the suspense. Bill Cowher would be a good choice or talk Jimmie Johnson into returning. GO COWBOYS!! I could care less if they kept TO or not.

Hard to say, since he waited until every decent coach available had filled another vacancy, and all the good Cowboy assistant coaches had found other jobs. Ugh, what a jerk. TO should be out too. What a worthless piece of garbage.
