In Canada, gays are thrilled with the legalization of gay marriage and they cannot fathom how anyone (such as Christians) could dare even discuss how to recall the legalization of gay marriage and "mess with the way things are now".

In the US, gays are furious that gay marriage isn't legalized, and they get even more enraged when they are told not to "mess with the way things are now".

Isn't this just curious?

Yeah, I thought so, too.

People never want to change what they already support. That should be no surprise.

The people in the US who enjoy sex with the same gender (let's call it what it is) actually have a valid argument, if only they went about it in a non-'gay' way.

The current US marriage law is, and always has been, a violation of the separation of church and state. Marriage is a religious institution and therefore is required to be between a man and a women (not to mention sex with others while married is against the law, even with spousal approval).

These are not "violation of others' rights" laws, these are 'live the way I live' laws.

If people would simply fight for a rewriting of the marriage law to state something along the lines of..

"A contractual lifetime obligation to signed parties with primary rights as to parental custody, document and patient access"

Of course, the above would require a bit more clarity to avoid thousands of lawsuits, but you get the jist.

There need not be any mention of # of contractual partners, gender of partners, sex between partners or even citizenship status. Someone on a green card deserves just as much access to their partner(s) as someone who was born here. Likewise, someone who simply wishes to live with somone forever and maybe raise a child together (adoption between gays is another topic entirely) should be able to be protected under the law, including visitation rights, child support, inheritance and with insurance claims. Sex in being lifelong partners does not come up in any of these cases, which is where the gay movement becomes a muddled mess of sex-craving halfwits.

Personally, I think gays who have sex are repulsive, but that is simply personal opinion and as long as they don't interfere with my rights or push their children to 'be gay', I have no problem with them living their lives together.

The fact is, my personal experience with the gay population has been dismal, including having my *** pinched numerous times, putting up one flaming gay guy after another (or worse yet, the butch lesbiens that are pathological man-haters) and being constantly hounded by instrusive (and many times horribly offensive) public sexual comments.

Of course, I know that these freaks do not represent the entire gay population, but the fact that the gay population defends these people makes them part of them. If some straight guy went around pinching women's behinds, he would be arrested, but somehow being gay gives you a pass to be intrusive and a general menace to people wishing to simply live their lives in peace.

To summarize: People want everyone to be like them, which simply means nobody has any clue as to how boring and meaningless their life would be if everyone were like them.

It's media... MEDIA MEDIA MEDIA. These people sooo simple minded that they only have one of two opinions. It's quite odd.

One side treats gays as if they are something to feel bad for... Such as homosexuality being a medical condition. Then the other side thinks they are some terrorist organization that is trying to recruit people... Or whatever. Americans are stupid and foul mouthed. It'll end one day,
