As many of you know, my husband left me and the kids to move down the street for a woman in the neighborhood. It took 9 months, but I decided to ask myself, "What do YOU want?" I am taking my kids on vacation to Portugal and I bought an Infiniti G35. It is killing him. More importantly, I feel much better to be able to do things for myself. Isn't living well the best revenge?

Yes it is. That is what I am trying to do as well. It has also been 9 months for me and I am finally getting to a point where it does not hurt so much. I no longer contact my ex unless it has something to do with our son and only if it is absolutely necessary. I too am focusing on me now and what it is that I want. I am not sure how he feels about things because I do not ask and I do not care.

Hey, it is!
My ex threatened to leave me on a weekly basis for 18 years. he had affairs and one-night stands whenever he could. I was never good enough - until I left him!
Now he's crying because I left him for a wonderful affectionate and morally superior man - one who adores me and lets me know it daily. We moved away and into a new home. We bought a sailboat and sail every weekend. We live well and are very happy. I feel more loved now than at any point in my life. I know that I am secure and safe in this relationship and that makes me feel very blessed indeed.
Meanwhile, my ex is living in a trailer and scraping by. He can't get any woman to stay with him for more than a week and boy is he lonely now. He cries all the time and wants me to go back. He threatens suicide if I won't go back. Oh well, leave me somethjing in your will you bastard!

yes, living well and being happy IS the way to go. Not for the sake of revenge, per se, but to prove to yourself that you can do it.
I found a BEAUTIFUL woman (looks, personality, brains and charm). My ex hates that my son loves my new girfriend and that I am living a much better life. But the important thing is that I AM HAPPY!

Yes it is............but just remember that living well goes beyond monetary items. I dont know your financial situation, but be careful not to rack up debt that you may regret later.
.......But if money isnt an object, then good for you and live it up!!!!!!!!!!!
