(12,-6) ; y=4x+1

is it -1/4x-18 ??? idk.... the coordinates confuse me wat do i do with those? i did -6-12.....i dont think that's right though......

You're partially right.

The slope is -1/4.

You can find the "b" in your line by plugging in 12 and -6 for "x" and "y" in the formula y=mx+b

-6 = (-1/4)(12) + b
-6 = -3 + b
-3 = b

So the answer would be y = (-1/4)x - 3
