Yes, I would like to live forever to, if for no other reason, realize the full potential of the human species. We are an amazing and dangerously awful species and I would like to see how we evolve. Not to mention the fact that I would love to see the extent of our technological abilities. One day I think we will defeat disease and other natural causes for death but for now we can only hope....and dream.

This question made me laugh, so I felt compelled to comment. I wouldn't mind living a very long time, as long as it were free from sickness and old age. But since that's not the reality of the situation, I'd like to live a full life, but not try to extend my years beyond their limits (who wants to live to be 110 if all you can eat is apple sauce, and you can't even wash yourself, let alone move about freely). I wouldn't ever consider euthanasia - I respect life far too much for that, but at the same time, I think holding on "for dear life" is kind of the other extreme.
And then there's that bit where I believe life gets a whole lot more interesting and exciting after death. So, despite how good things can be here, I wouldn't want to give that up for the world!
By the way, I hope you're being facetious about avoiding death ... again, it did make me laugh. Though there are some who seem (and rather frighteningly I might add) to have conned themselves into thinking its possible. In which case I merely comment, don't waste your time - enjoy the time you're given and make the most of every moment!

There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that there are people alive right now, who will be alive many hundreds of years from now. We are on the edge of massively extending the human life span.
The people I speak of are probably all pretty young. Teens and younger. They are the luckiest 1% of the population. Those with family money and no genetic predispositions to anything bad. They will also have to be lucky enough to avoid accidental death and all the nasty things the world dishes out.

Living right now is hard enough without the thought of living forever
Give me a break I need to find some solitude somewhere and in death hopefully it will come.
Give me rest.
Like the saying goes may he rest in peace.
Sheesh I hope I do ...
Don't offer me living forever my life is hard enough
and I go through the trials without complaint.
Smile and it will warm your heart.
Now I go

I do not , for a second ,hesitate with my answer of yes..,
THAT IS ,allowing for certain prerequisites.
Like, oh say GOOD HEALTH !!
Maybe throw in some happiness..,
It's not like we are going to get it , so why not some demands on the unattainable..?
That is .., a realistic , on earth.., this planet viewpoint.
