Depending on the family I guess and the type of funeral. Some people like to have their lives celebrated and for it not to be an all sad and somber day. Although someone died, she has no reason to be mad at you what so ever. You showed up!! That shows you cared!! No matter what you were wearing.

This was obviously a stressful day for her and she probably just vented on you. DONT bring up pms unless you want to end your relationship. Dress codes for funerals are expected to be somber and "formal" (for future reference) unless explicitly stated otherwise. Was she being unreasonable? If she was close to her gramps, no. If she hardly knew him, maybe. Funerals of those you love do weird things to people, judge her after you walked in her shoes (no pun intended).

You are right ... knowing that men are imbecils, she should have personally checked your clothing before the funeral.

she is being unreasonable. as a boyfriend- not a husband or relative, it is pretty nice you even went to the funeral especially from work. I think she is not a nice person.

Um, well she kinda has a reason, and she kinda doesn't. I mean, it was a funeral. Socks and sandals weren't meant for them.
