I live in WV & its not because of jobs. There are hardly no jobs here. I guess if you had lots of money & liked to white water raft,mountain climbing,snow skiing & base jumping off the New River bridge it may attract some. Oh yea beautiful country but you can't make money off that.

Why wouldn't they??
It's a great place to raise a family. There are many things to do for recreation and has really great schools.
Most of the state has that "small town feel" that so many people want to get back to now days.
The price of living is low and out state has great people.

I used to live there, and I can honestly say, I have no idea.LOL Unless, of course, you moved somewhere close to the Virginia border. It is really pretty there.

Because it is beautiful there! It's also got fewer people than a lot of other Eastern states which is a plus in my book :)
