Yes, it's normal but it wouldn't hurt to talk to your OB. They may have you do a kick count or do an u/s to make sure she's OK.

your baby is loosing kicking space. My doctors have told me, even if it is a flick of a finger, that is a movement. If you are concerened enough to ask, then try this..... 1. drink juice or eat something. 2. lay on your left side. 3. count ANY movement. 4. if there are five movements within 10 minutes then you are fine.
don't lie there for half an hour, it is not worth your time. But if you get those five movements, then there is nothing to worrie about. Some babys are more active at other times of the day also. Mine of course is at night right as I lay down to go to bed. TRy this a few times a day, and see the difference. Good luck, I am sure everything is fine. congrats

It is normal for the baby not to move around as much towards the end of pregnancy....like you said, because of the lack of room to do so. If you are really concerned you should call your doctor, it doesn't hurt to just make sure everything is fine...Good luck to you!

It was normal for me. After all, towards the end of the pregnancy, the baby is so big that it doesn't have as much room in the womb to move around in. Before now, your baby had enough room to do somersaults & all types of tricks.

It's completely normal for your baby to not move much toward the end of the pregnancy. The reason is because he/she is running out of room to move. As long as your baby is moving than there's no need to be alarmed.

Yes, some babies move around LESS at the end of pregnancy but should never NOT move. If you're concerned AT ALL, call your doctor. I don't mean to scare you, but my friend's baby was lost at 38 weeks. Her cord was tied in a knot. Don't feel stupid calling your doctor!

The short answer is: your baby is squished! She's out of room, and she's also resting up for the big day. They get cramped at the end (who knows-you may deliver a tad early!) and they get lots of rest. My kiddo did the same thing. No worries, especially if she moves at least a little evry day. you may also not notice when she's moving if she moves at night while you are sleeping. Good luck!

WHAT THEY SAID. BABY NEEDS ROOM TO MOVE, NO ROOM, CAN'T MOVE. SIMPLE AS THAT. ALL BABIES STOP MOVING. YOU WILL HOWEVER FEEL THE WEIGHT LOWER WHEN THE BABY DROPS.

If you are worried, talk to your doctor. I'm sure he/she is fine though.
