the one where they didn't give bush a penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct, after he pointed at the bears, did a flip, danced on the endzone, compared himself to Jim Brown.
the score should have been 39-7 bears.
I guess i'll have to see what Pereira says about it on Nfl network.

Yeah I have been saying there should have been a flag for Taunting for him turning around and pointing like that. Well it fired the Bears up and cost his team the game so I guess it was better this way.
OK clearly some people don't know the RULES. If a ball is COMING LOSE when the player goes down it is a fumble. The returner didn't demonstrate control of the football before he went down and it came loose. I wouldn't have ruled it a fumble on the initial call but I think the replay was correct. You could see that slight bobble and attempt to capture it with his body. He didn't have control. Oh and the taunting wouldn't have taken points off because the touchdown wouldn't have counted. It wasn't a celebration penalty if called. It would be called from the spot of the foul. That was on the field of play.

he did the flip before he went into the endzone. I think the rules were lessened on excessive celebrating in the end zone. There was a time when it was getting ridiculous, and making the NFL into some kind of circus.
I think you meant James Brown the late singer ,entertainer, not Jim Brown the football player,Jim Brown never celebrated with dances back in his day.
I don't think that the refs considered the Touchdown excessive celebrating, and the flip was done before he crossed the end zone line.He could have fumbled the ball, and I am sure he was told about it by his coaches.
It was a great play by the Saints at that point in the game.
If anyone is irratating ,it is TO ,who celebrates by himself after scoring a touchdown.
I think that TO was the reason why Parcells retired by the way also.

My theory? If you've already looked the "other way" about the NCAA violations surrounding the NFL's newest meal-ticket. Changes are there will be white-gloves on the officiating surrounding him, too. And ESPN etc. promoted Drew Brees and the NO offense all week, for a reason. It's not tauting, if that's the only thing the NFL was awarding to "long suffering" fans of the newly designated America's team. ESPN got its highlight to run/re-run and make controversial. Every sports script-reader on local news can smirk about the video for weeks, now. They can use it as a promo! Even next year, ESPN and the NFL will be getting mileage out of this. It's all phony. If the game was fair, the flag would have been thrown -- but, if you believe anything is on the level about the NFL, from the point spread (who? who? when?) being reported by Chris Berman 10-munutes after the game and carried everywhere (1 point spread? who emails it?). They promote the games one way, and then as long as 60% lose and fans watch through to the 4th quarter (for their bets' resolution) -- everyone wins from the networks, advertisers, everyone except the 60-80% that will have to send payment to their local bookies (although this is illegal nearly everywhere) wink wink wink

Did you see the call when Colston got away with an Offensive Pass Interference against Urlacher near the end of the 1st half? He shoved down Urlacher to get the first down.
By the way, you can't lose points for a unsportsmanlike conduct penalty. You lose 15 yards on the kickoff!

Learn the game
You don't take away points for unsportsmanlike conduct, 15 yards taken at the kick off. If what you are suggesting is true, lets take away the Refridgerator Perry touchdown in the Bears last SB appearance.

If I would have made the shitt talking Chicago D look like a bunch of 8 year old girls, I would have danced a jig too. Their DB's could not come close to catching him. Pretty good when you go from 3-13 to the NFC championship it one year. The Saints will own the Bears next year, you will see.

Again, you don't know the rules.
NCAA will flag ANY taunting. NFL leaves it up to the refs. (remember Devin Hester on his second return in STL). The only hard rule is the excessive celebration.
They got it right by not throwing a flag.
BTW Saints fans that are whining need to stop. Your team got blown out on the road. It happens. get over it...

Yeah. I think they should have def. thrown a flag. But it wouldn't have affected the score.
Reggie's attitude yesterday was really cocky and uncalled for. He's young...he'll learn, hopefully.
But I'm a huge Bears fan..
GO BEARS!!!!!!!!!!
