Russia is just Russian. While Russia has many things in common with other East European countries, their historical paths differ greatly. Although situated on 2 continents and incorporating a large number of nationalities, Russia does not fall into the stereotype of being European or Asian (if such a stereotype exists) and has its own history, which is unique and not alligned with that of any other countries.
When the Soviet union existed, it incorporated not only European states(eg Latvia, Estonia etc), but also Asian states (eg Kazakhstan, Tadjikistan...). Russian remains a rmajor recognised international language in these partsof the world.

The official border between Europe and Asia is the Ural Mountains (that where my home city is) which is approximately in 1000 mile to east from Moscow. Theoretically whatever is easter then Urals is in Asia but practically Asian culture span only near Kazakhstan the rest culturally Europeans even if they live next to China in 10 hour flight from Moscow.
And still Russia is the biggest country in the world.
If the Tsar didn't sell Alaska to US it could be the only one country in the world situated on three continents!

properly Im no longer likely helpful approximately any u . s . a . truly getting blamed for the initiating of WW1. It grow to be truly a terrorist team stated as the black hand that assassinated the Archduke Franz Ferdinand. because of the fact the black hand grow to be created from Serbian civilians Austria-Hungary declared conflict on Serbia. through there alliances the entire international grow to be further into the conflict. there is likewise many facet aspects that blew the conflict out of share. The french had a solid resentment for the lack of land for the time of previous wars, Britain and Germany have been in a defense force and financial race and Germany additionally merely needed a colony like many different eu international locations had.

Your question is difficult to understand, but I'll try.
The nation of Russia is situasted on two (2) continents, Europe and Asia. It is still one country, with one centralized government. It just is so large, geographically, that it spans two continents.
