Not much longer. I believe that a war will be started between the US and her Allies against Iran. Iran is not going to back off of this nuclear road that they have embarked on that will endanger all of us in the free world.

If Iran does not relent I believe a war will be in progress before this coming June. Statements from Iran seem to think we will never do anything positive. We used to think that way way back in 1941 when we believed that the Japs would never attack us at Pearl Harbor, or how about Germany's invasion of Russia, Hitler had a non aggression pact with Russia and attached them anyway.

When are we going to wake up and do the right thing of snipping this thing in the bud. We have the power and knowledge to annihilate them, we just seem to never use all the power available to us, well, i believe that the time is right to demonstrate to the world that enough is enough and we will not wait until they have nuclear weapons to use against us. I would give the UN another 2 months then take some very serious action against Iran.

If Iran is trying to build a nuke, they have chosen the absolute slowest and most inefficient way to purify material to weapons grade.

There are a lot of ways that are easier to make weapons grade that are poor choices for making commercial grade.

So if you are trying to make a nuke why would you choose the absolute slowest way to do so?

It will take 8 years of non-stop centrifuge processing before you can make the smallest of nukes. If they chose a different process that they should be technologically capable of doing they could cut this down to about 1.5 years.

To put that in comparison, It takes the US approximately 30 days to create enough weapons grade material for a warhead.

In the face of all evidence that shows Iran is not trying to acquire nukes i still believe they are. But then again I believe in the magical thinking that says sending an extra 20000 troops to Iraq will actually make a difference all we need is to wait another friedman unit or two.

The UN will wait until Iran has nukes, and then they will complain about the fact that Iran lied about it's nuke program.

The real question is how long should the USA, or Israel, or both wait before dealing with Iran and it's nuke ambitions.

I am sure they are. If you are waiting for the United Nations to take any action, you are wasting your time. The Security Council will make sure than any effective action is never taken. The United Nations cannot even conduct humanitarian mission with corrupting the process into a money making proposition for U.N. employees.

If you give a kid a horse to help plow the field, it won't be long before he will want to ride the horse and race it against his neighbors.

Why should crazy men like the Iranian Premier and his Imans be satisfied with just something that make electricity, when they can easily convert it into a large bomb and use it to further their ambitions? One does not need to be a genius to draw the right conclusions.

yes i do ... and who could blame them with the US posture of imperialism in the middle east ... imo they should have been halted long ago but its been allowed to grow into a situation where the US has an excuse to completely destroy the iranian govt ... i just think iran could have been led down a different path long ago when they had a pro-western leader .. but western intelligence operations took him down because he wanted to nationalize the oil fields and deny western companies monopolies ... so i think yes they need to have their nuclear ambitions halted at this point with the current leadership of iran ... but the whole situation has been manipulated into a crisis and how convenient that it is at this time when the US military is there ready to pounce and take over ...

and no one can be able to stop them, not even U.N.
In the case of conflict, U.N. shall be succeeded to make a ceasefire but Iran shall go forward on the track of arming herself with the help of ......Pakistan, no problem !!
