the xryocat lives off the West coast of Madagascar. They are herbivores that spend their docile lives eating plankton and keeping the coral reefs clean. Only during the monsoon months will the xryocat migrate north towards the Red Sea. The Red Sea is also the location of its breeding grounds. The xyrocat emits a long low tone to attract eachother.

Endangered Species List:
xyrocats have been around for nearly 450,000 years. They used to be found all throughout the Indian ocean. However, in recent years poachers have been hunting them to near extinction. Furthermore, the xyrocat is very curious of ships and often approaches them, so they are disappearing at an alarming rate. Nowadays they are on the endangered list, with only a few thousand surviving in the wild.

The x-ray fish, a small fish from South America, gets its name because it is almost transparent and you can see its skeleton. And if you'd want to use the Latin names, here's some more: Xerus inauris (cape ground squirrel) Xenophus laevis (African clawed frog) Xantusia henshawi (Granite night lizard) Remember the "x" is actually pronounced like a "z".
