The song I want played at my funeral is Spirit In The Sky by Norman Greenbaulm. I think it is a very fitting song for a funeral.

No trouble and very sorry to hear about your friend. Loss is never easy but you need to play the song both you and his parents think appropriate and that he would have liked. Hope life gets better for you all.

Hello, as an accomplished Keyboard player, may I suggest that instead of a song, whic many people won't be able to sing, mainly because the may well be so very heartbroken, you arrange to have the beautiful melody entitled ' Cavatina ' ( it's the theme from the film ' The Deer Hunter' ) and lasts long enough for the gathered people there to realise the so moving melody, they will relate its use for many many years to come, Please God Bless you all at this very sad moment in this life, Tony M

as a mother i love the song by Il Divo called Mama.
It really is beautiful if you listen to the words. If you need to cry, as i think it is good too, i think this could be perfect. Listen to the words of the song they are quite powerful and see what you think.
2 little boys sounds good too though - perhaps it will lift eveyines sprits. How about both?

I'm sorry about your friend Collin but I think you have picked the right song. This is one you chose yourself and it means something to you so I see it as fitting for the service. Again my sympathies go out to you and his family.

I'm sorry to hear of your loss.
Two little boys is an amazing choice. I cannot hear that without crying, even though I am a girl and have nothing to attribute it to.
Its an excellent choice.
Other than that, were there any bands or songs that you remember him particularly liking?
