I was just wondering because I have a fever right now and I haven't eaten in about 3 days and I'm feeling very nauseous, is that just my sickness or can you throw up from lack of food?

The lack of food will actually make you sick. I am not a heavy eater and when I go too long without food, I will get nauseous. It goes away after I eat something, so try to eat something, anything, and you will not feel nauseous anymore. Having a fever should not stop you from eating altogether. Your body can't heal without certain vitamins and nutrients. Honey is an exceptionally good food and medicine since it has antibacterial properties and it is very good for fighting the flu and fevers. Also, make sure you drinks lots of fluids and water.

Yes you can.. I havn't eaten anything for about a week and I'm throwing up a lot.. even there's nothing to throw up.. It might also be your illness though. I suggest munching on something like crackers or toast.

My daughter suffered food poisoning for 2 days. She woke up one morning in terrible pain. Her stomach was cramping and she was throwing up - - - there had been nothing in her stomach for so long. Bad feeling.

Munch on some dry toast or saltine crackers. Drink weak tea.

It's not about throwing up because of a lack of food. Unfortunately if you have nothing in your stomach you're just throwing up bile. Ugh, hang in there!
