Ok, this is not intended to be a racist or homophobic topic, but I just wanna know if I'm not the only one who is experienced enough to determine the physical characteristics of an online user, based on the style and tone of his written responses.
For, instance if a Y!A person replies to my question; he does not have an avatar or a comprehensible username. But I can reasonably judge from his way of writing whether he is:
i. A fat or slim person
ii. Black or White or Latino or East Asian or Indian
Is anyone else able to do the same too, or is it just me?

I've thought about this too, there is some psychology behind the avatars and pictures. A lot of elderly and/or inexperienced users are easy to spot, but the more experienced they are the better they can cover their tracks.
Anyway, if you can do that, I'm sure you can guess both i and ii of me, right?

I have to say that even a intelligent and experienced web sufer could not know. I can tpye a reply or change my Avatar to fool anyone. You can't judge on that although some do. I don't put all my effort in trying to find out. If you waste your time on trying to figure it out it will just eat away at you. But its like a guessing game. You may be right. You may be wrong. I agree that some can do the same thing as you. But they could be wrong.

You make your assumptions and then live with the consequences every day.
The Internet is full of people putting on shows, spewing bravado and making false claims everywhere... It is a place for people to be anonymous, to be whatever the heck they want to be.
Usually the best way to see if you are right or not is to watch how they react.
Most people are not bright enough to hold their tongue as a result and spout whatever garbage streams from their psyche to defend themselves in a defensive manner.
Tell me... What do you think I am?
Male or Female?
Fat or skinny or in between?
Married or Single, Straight or Gay?
White or Ethnic?
Rich or Poor?
Baby... as good as you believe you are. You couldn't get close if you tried! So I would have to disagree with you here considering.
But try... I will come back and tell you if you are right or wrong.

Have you ever validated these assumptions? I didn't think so. You get some sort of feeling and you assume it is correct. It may or may not be.
