No, I think the cells in their brains are slower than normal, so they tire easy or they are just lazy.

It takes a while to convert the food into energy, so they have very little. That is why they sleep, to conserve their energy. Also, their main source of food is leaves, and they provide very little energy and nutrition and do not digest easily.
