Does anyone still care who is nominated/who will win this year? There will be the usualy fanfare come February but the awards themselves just seem to be more and more pointless. The voting always seems to be focused on what the panel think should win rather than who/what was actually best. Will you be staying up to the wee hours to watch? Opinions please.

I've always found them as dull as ditchwater anyway, so as far as I'm concerned they could n't get any worse.

The Oscars are nothin more than a stupid persons excuse for entertainment. Who da fcuk cares who wins best supporting actor in a musical? Theres far more important things goin on than that vomit inducing mumbo jumbo

It is really dull, the only good thing about it is seeing what people are wearing. The films that win are always so pretentious and "worthy" and so are the acting performances that are awarded.
