Good Lord! If you are that worried you need to call your doctor. There are kick counts that you should be doing and if that baby isn't moving then you need to say something to a health care provider.

On another note, it is perfectly normal for baby to have quiet times. Since I am not you, (and no one else on here can feel the baby either), there is no way we can tell you if the baby is ok. If you are losing the baby, yes, you will have pain, and most likely bleeding. But I would not wait to see if that happens if I were you.

Hi ... try not to worry too much go to the doctor for your well visit and ask to hear the heart beating.
Maybe your baby just wants to rest a little bit.
As for Still born is your baby still moving about.
that's the main answer to this question if the little one is not moving as much as it was before it may be that there is not much room to move around as well your baby may not want to be active but the best way to figure it all out is by asking the doctor . Speak to them and tell them what your concerns are..

I think that is a greater answer than getting into the emotional part of whether or not your baby is still born. You are very likely concerned but seek attention first that's the most important.
think positive for your little one.
take good care of YOU

hi Lana, When ladies give birth to a still born baby the labour and procedure is exactly the same. If you are experiencing pain and or bleeding or both you should seek medical advice immediately. As the baby gets bigger they dont move quite as much, as there is less room for them to move but you should still be feeling at least 10 to 12 movements aday. Sometimes a warm drink like tea will the stimulate the baby to move. I hope everything will ok with you and your baby.Sincerely Karen

You would only bleed if you are actually losing the baby - ie a premature labour. You are too far along now to have a "miscarraige" but if a baby dies in utero it is sometimes not picked up on until they do an ultrasound, you don't automatically give birth to a baby when it dies in utero - sometimes women have to be induced to deliver the baby.

The best thing to do is get yourself to hospital ASAP to get checked over. Babies do go through quiet periods and "busy" periods of movement, but as a rule you should be getting about 10 movements a day from about 24 weeks pregnant. Any less than this or if you notice your baby's pattern of movement changing or decreasing (ie is s/he mostly active at a certain time of time of day etc) then you need to get yourself checked out ASAP.

When I was pregnant with my son I was always worried about his movements. The midwives used to advise me to lie down on the sofa and have a really cold drink with plenty of ice in it - it really wakes the baby up!!!

Try this and if you still get no movement ring your midwife/Doctor or get yourself to hospital for a check up. Don't leave it any longer.

Hold on a mo - how do you know your baby is stillborn? You ought to be having around ten movements a day - but remember that babies sleep just as we do and the baby will not have as much room as before. The best thing to do is get on to your GP or midwife or go to the hospital. If you have lost the baby you will be ill if it stays inside you, but the chances are that it is just being lazy and everything will be ok. A quick scan will let you know either way. GO NOW!! Please let me know what happens! Congrats or Sympathy in advance.

You need to call your OB and have them so an ultrasound. BUT as long as teh baby is moving at all, s/he is more than likely OK. The baby is probably just running out of room right now :) Best wishes and I pray all is well for you both!

why wait?! call your DR and get checked out now, that is why you have a DR and then if your ok your not setting around worrying all day and night that isnt healthy either. My frist baby was a still born and trust me go get checked out!
