My 5 year old is at work with me for a little bit today and he has found...and decided to claim...the Napoleon Dynamite Vanilla Lip Balm that I keep in my desk drawer.
Should I:
1. string him up by his toes
2. tickle-torture him until he drops it
3. wrestle him for it
4. tuck it in his pocket and tell him to keep it

I would start with 4, move very quickly to 3, and then finish up with a very light and fun 2.
I've never been one for #1. It's a bit messy to get them down...

Tickle-torture him until he drops it. At 5 if he keeps it it will only be lost or (eaten) within 10 min.

Well lets see! I would do 2 if he does not give it back then do 4. Or. Wait till he falls asleep and reclaim if you cannot find it, then I guess you will just have to go buy yourself a new lip balm.
Good Luck.
