I am a registered republican and I usually, but not always, vote for republicans but for this upcoming election I am voting for the person who has two things:
1. A good policy for getting us out of Iraq without creating a bigger international mess
2. A solid energy policy that has a goal of making us 100% energy independent.
If a canidate comes up with something that looks solid and promising on those two issues, they have my vote and I don't care what party they represent.

There are members of both that I would vote for. Dems would be Zell Miller and maybe Joe Lieberman. Reps would be Powell if he would run, maybe McCain, Rudie G., and maybe the guy from Co. but I still need more on him.

There is a lot to be discovered about some of the candidates who haven't been on the natinal stage for a long time. Obama, Richardson, Giuliani, Brownback... Some of them have been around a long time, not just in the media's eye. Often the media chooses our candidates for us by picking the ones they find interesting. There is a lot to be learned about the lesser known candidates. The internet makes that easier and hopefully everyone takes the time to learn about their candidate's positions and history before simply voting for the party line.

To be honest and frank, no. But then again, there aren't many Republicans running that I'm really wanting to vote for either. Ugh...looks to be another choosing between the lesser of two evils election

I probably won't vote "for" any person from either party, but I will vote against somebody.
I wish I felt like I could vote "for" somebody!

Richardson has a fairly strong crossover appeal.
McCain also had a strong crossover appeal. His latest position on Iraq is sure to cost him.
