c and negative 5 over d to the 3rd power and g to the negative 8th power. please help

C-5/D3G-8 = C^{-5}/D^3G^{-8}
= g^8 /c^5 d^3 .

Since there are no terms to cancel out between the denominator and numerator (i.e. there's no c in the denominator, no d or g in the numerator), this is already in simplest form! So, you're done.

The only thing you can do is to change the negative power to a positive by putting g^8 in the numerator and taking g^(-8) out of the denominator... which you are really getting by multiplying the whole thing by g^8/g^8 = 1, but this doesn't count as simplifications.
