They already have, and you notice it's the white guys making a bigger deal out of it, well except for Shannon Sharpe, but I don't expect anything less from that loud mouthed, ignorant fool.

It is the Super Bowl. EVERYTHING is going to be overplayed. Peyton Manning finally making it to the big game is going to be overplayed. The Bears not being there since 1985 is going to be overplayed. The Bears as underdogs is going to be overplayed. The manic-depressive defenses of these two teams are going to be overplayed. Some nobody, second-string tackle probably had a puppy who died, and that will be overplayed. That is pretty much what the Super Bowl is all about: hype.

So under the circumstances, I don't think race CAN be overplayed. Race is a big issue in this country, regardless of how hard everyone tries to pretend that it isn't. The fact that both coaches are black is actually a pretty big deal. It has never happened before, and racism is one of the factors. So if something is going to be overplayed, it may as well be something that is significant and says something about our society.

Yes.

What the media should be focusing on is the fact that the Colts have CHEERLEADERS and the Bears do NOT!

I guess that means they couldn't find 25 beautiful women in Chicago!

They already have, but when one considers the disparity between white and black head coaches, the media actually picked something classy to accentuate!

They started way before the games even did. Now Pittsburgh has hired its first black head coach, so we're going to hear it even more.

Yeah...unfortunately. You'll see and hear this crap for weeks.

The today show....blah blah....they've already talked about it.

I'm white...and if we had 2 white coaches going to the Superbowl....that would never come up.

Obviously they have and it's starting to annoy me. Race shouldn't matter and it's pitiful how it is a factor still.
