This happens at least twice a year or so. WWE Creative runs out of ideas for people, or they simply cannot cut it, and are released. Usually, following this, a new crop of people are hired to take their place. Many times those released find their way back to the WWE eventually and move on to bigger things. Test is a perfect example of this. He was released while he was injured and now has been brought back and is dominating the ECW landscape. It's nothing personal, just business.

Bottom line is in this business if you are not getting a major push and have not became a "big money" draw. Your job is not secure. When the company has to make budget cuts those who are not popular are the first ones out. You would think a company so wealthy would not have to do this every couple of years but I guess that just how business is.
