Like everyone else said, she was killed off in an episode "Love Never Dies" when a plane (full of dead passengers) crashes down on her car. It was the plane that she thought her brother was on and she was driving to the airport to find out or to warn people when it finally crashed.
I checked several websites, including Aisha Tyler, IMDB.com, and CBS, and no one explains why she was removed from the show.
There are rumors that she was having a baby, but I don't think this is it because she could still have had the pregnancy on the show.
Another indicated that she wanted to focus on movies, but again she has not done so. In fact, she went into news and magazines since leaving Ghost Whisperer.
My guess would be that it was a money issue, or a personality conflict on the show. It's too bad because I thought her interaction was better with JLH than it is with her replacement, Camryn. There was also that visible minority content that helped to promote a great interracial relationship.
But if the ratings are not always at the top of the charts, the networks decide to change the show's stars, or cancel the show, or move it all around the time slots until no one remembers when it is on.

She was killed off. Remember the episode with the plane crash? Andrea was driving her car and the plane hit her. She is frantically looking for her brother who she thinks is on that plane. You discover at the last minute of the show that it is she who was killed, not her brother. I believe the show is called "Love never dies", just like she had engraved on the watch for her brother.

She got killed when that plane crashed close to there town. I miss her too, she was a great personality. I wonder if in real life she was having a baby?

Is that her best friend that was killed off in the season opener? I thought that was wrong, they killed off the character for no reason, and then replaced the best friend character with a white woman. I thought the interacial friendship was cool
