Celebrate! yay on the new job! If your new co-workers don't offer to take you to lunch ask them if they'd like to go out for lunch to get to know them. The rest of it can be exhausting though, you will learn new procedures, and the ins and outs, it will be a lot of info at once, don't be afraid to ask questions.

Concentrate on learning, try to learn as much as you can from everyone you come in contact with. Do not tell everyone, even when asked, everything you know. This should take you (6) months, after that share only with new employees that the company bring in.
After (2) years, you should of learned enough to help with suggestions. From (6) months to (2) years don't suggest unless asked.
Good Luck and Con-Grads

Hi, just remember your new job is just that. Walk in with your head heal high. You would have not been hired if they didn't fell you are able to do the job. Listen and learn what they expecting from you. And remember no question is dumb. the person that doesn't ask the question finds him self not knowing where or what to do next. Good Luck

At a new job:
1st. - ask questions about your responsibilities, what are they, how the boss wants them done.
2nd - keep a little quiet and listen, don't reveal too much about yourself, just observe what others say, do, and how they interact with each other.
3rd - as you watch and listen, figure out who the office jerk/gossip/trouble-maker is (every office has one).
Finally, do the best you can, ask questions if you don't understand something, do not express your opinion about anything especially at first, until you figure out the office politics.
Good Luck!!

Come a little early, be pleasant to everyone. Do everything that you're told. Ask lots of questions...show that you really are interested and care. Pull this off, you'll be fine.
