Italy for me is definitely one of a tourist's dream vacation spot. I loved my stay there and absorbed all the culture and the life Italy has to offer. I will just suggest that be open minded and accept all the surprises Italy has to offer. Plus, try learning basic Italian or have someone you know who can speak the language accompany you when you go around. Go to Venice, Sicily, Rome and Tuscany.
Have fun! :)

I hope you are all eyes - read this:
"To me Italy is a beautiful place for ROMANCE and love.
I would love to go THERE and see for MYSELF. I just know that they have beautiful roses there. If I could, I would go THERE today. Have you EVER been to Italy? If so - share it with me. I am all ears."
No, I have never been to Italy.

I spent 5 days in Rome a few years ago and would love to go back and see more of the country. It's absolutely beautiful and amazing to see all of the architecture and history. My favorite place was Piazza Navona at night. I was there in February so nothing was blooming but I'm sure it's even more beautiful in the spring and summer. I hope you get to go soon!

North and Central Italy are more touristy, but into the South it has beautiful countrysides and roads along the water. It's real nice, but more poorer in the South.
