"Supremes", they got it going on." They started the ball rollin... :)

TLC all the way. The all got to sing or rap on all/most of the songs. They had their original members to the end. They are like my favorite r&b group.

En Vogue. A lot of people slept on them but they had the most beautiful voices EVER. Their harmony was flawless and they had that look. There were a nice blend of R&B with just enough pop, not too much. Think Hold On, Whatta Man (with Salt N Pepa), Never Gonna Get It, Don't Let Go (Love), Don't Go, etc. They were not all cotton candy; they made socially conscious songs like Free Your Mind, Lies, Does Anybody Hear Me, and the beautiful, beautiful, beautiful Part of Me.
This takes nothing away from the other ladies, who were each extremly talented, but it's En Vogue, hands down.

Neither, The Go-Go's or The Bangles. But if I had to choose from the following choices, The Supremes.
