So you broke up with this ex right? High school love, young, exciting right? If he loved you so much he would be around now.
Real life....... you now have a guy who MARRIED YOU! Real love is when two people in a commited relationship work together over time. Growing together, living together, learning things that you never get in a dating relationship. Where both people can totally let their guard down in everyway so sometimes it seems your spouse knows more about you than you do yourself.
Sure you may have issues in your marriage now. But nothing will ever be right by you turning your thoughts outward for some coulda woulda shoulda thing. And you know a spouse can sense these things. Remember you made a commitment and need to work with what is real. Next time you see you husband look at him and be thankful that he thought enough of you to marry you. Turn your attentions inward to your marriage. It's not always easy, it can be hard but as time goes by you will come to understand what "real" love means.

The relationship that you are pining away for is a fantasy. That is normal. When you are thinking about the ways that your ex showed love more than your husband be specific. Those are the things that you can bring to your real relationship. Fantasy and imagination are good things to have to sustain in a marriage. First stop judging your feelings. Explore them. Then put those things to work for you in the here and now. What you are missing is what you need or you wouldn't keep having the thoughts. So implement the needs into your relationship. That way youreally can have it all.

Keep in mind, the grass is almost never greener on the other side. It sounds like you have unresolved feelings for this ex boyfriend...but he is you're ex for a reason, try to keep that reason i mind. You don't know that he loved you more than you're husband, you're husband married you..where is you're ex? Focus on the wonderful about you're husband and what made you love him. concentrate on bringing more happiness to you're marriage not a fantasy. I've been there...and the grass was definately not greener on the other side.

Don't do anything to hurt your husband. You are not in high school anymore. You are a married woman.

It's normal to think about them, but it's not normal to try and seek them out. You might get yourself in trouble.
