We are planning a diving trip for the end of Feb and would be great to get some suggestions as to where in Europe is good for scuba diving. I have a PADI cert but am not experienced, so hope to go somewhere that caters for less experienced divers. Any suggestions for locations or where to book this, or links to helpful sites greatly appreciated

There are too many diving locations and centers in Turkey. The most popular ones are Bodrum, Fethiye, and Kaş. You can fly to İzmir for Bodrum and Fethiye, and to Antalya for Kaş. There are many experienced diving instructors and comfortable hotels for your holiday. Also there are historical sites to visit, trekking routes by the sea and forest to spice up your holiday. As an experienced diver I couldn't complete all diving locations in Turkey yet.

Big question, with too many answers but my personal recommendation would be Malta. Probably the best wreck diving anywhere in Europe plus plenty of good reef dives and warm water too. Easy access from all UK Airports and only 4 hr flight.
Many of the dive sites are under 20m and you are well catered for with loads of good quality operators (recommend Maltaqua).
Don't forget the UK though, may be a bit cold now but we have some A1 dive sites (St Abbs, Scappa,etc etc).

malta rules! hey isnt malta the only country un europe that has currency stronger than the UK..i would like to get my meat hooks on a few thousand maltese lira..yea
