People say that we can’t change the world, what we can do is to change ourselves…. But what if we CAN change the world? I mean let say that you can slide to the alternate reality. For example:
Reality: USA won the cold war, and it’s currently on the war against terrorism.
ALTERNATE reality: USA lost the cold war, and it’s currently being colonized by the Soviets.

Personally, I want to slide to the world where people have eliminated all of their greed. People just think and act to be the better self. The world where people have discovered the secret of telekinesis/psychokinetic. The world where magic is all real, and advance altogether with science. The world where religious people are not such inhuman and intolerant fundamentalist. The world where our basic instinct is not to compete but to cooperate each other. The world where we have truly discovered the secret of Life after Death. The world where I have lots of super-human ability and I can do this for my own good and nobody got jealous or envious for this. This list could go on and on, but I do have high expectations in the other reality here!
Now what kind of reality would you wish for your new world?
PS: you can ONLY slide once to the alternate reality and you could NEVER return to the former reality. Will you take this chance to slide or just merely leave it?

Yep. I'd take the blue pill and go back to the future. This alternate reality of which you speak sounds nice. I'm too lazy to think up my own rules. :-) What you said sounds great. Sounds like Heaven is what it sounds like.

The concept of a parallel universe implies just that...parallel.
Physicists accept this possibility and in reality are experimenting
with sub-atomic matter using centrifugal force. It involves time
travel on the molecular level but someday perhaps human will
benefit....so in that sense it would be an "alternate reality".
However, it would always include the reality from which you
started. If this were the case, you could ostensibly choose the
best of both worlds to visit. I'd opt for this.

i'd want to bypass hit upon parallel universes. yet what type of parallel universe? If the conception of parallel universes has countless opportunities, i ought to both land in a satisfied paradise or some type of hellish dystopia actuality. i doesn't concepts staying if I finally end up in a appropriate international the position existence is nice. And if I finally end up in a international the position each little thing is screwed up, then i'm out of success if i'm able to't bypass lower back or commence thinking thoughts to proceed to exist.

Wow. A nice idea, but you know, no matter how much this reality may suck sometimes, everything I care about is here. Can't take the chance of having it changed or lost in an alternate world, so I'll stick with this one.

This world may be a long way from perfect, but going to a parallel world is foolish. You might be President or a criminal or run into yourself and cease to exist. If I want to "leave" this world, I'll EU drugs and alcohol like the rest of the sane escapee's

I would rather take a ride on the 'Alternaties' Tour. Even when the system breaks down, I can move between the various dimensions at random with the odd chance of ending up at the homeworld.

If there was a dimension which was opposite to ours in any way possible, it would literally not function properly enough to mirror the events of our own dimension.
