My boyfriend of the past 18 months has a friend from liverpool who he chats to on line occassionally, I've met her once and her husband, she seems nice enough and did chat to her too every now and then. At the weekend she got drunk one night and chatted to my bloke on line then told him she fancied him! and has done for some time. My bloke was really embarrased said he was flattered but that he loved me and always will. He told me what happened and I went mad, not at him! but at his so called friend, I sent her an email asking what she was playing at. My bloke now says he wont speak to her anymore.

Did I over react?

HI there !!
Congragulations on your boyfriend !! Sounds to me like he is a keeper.
You did not overreact, you did perfect, you stood your grounds and showed this person you where not going to put up with her flirting with your boyfriend.

Your boyfriend did the correct thing, you should feel proud. This shows you his level of commitment towards you and how serious he is about your relationship.

I would go about now and be careful as to chatting online with people we really do not know who they are and what they are up to. People can be very diceiving, so be cautious.
Your boyfriend was upfront with you, extend the same courtesy to him when things go wrong.

Do something nice for your boyfriend and yourself. Go out on a date, or just gaze at the stars at night together. have fun and enjoy each others company. This could be a great tilme to have a heartfelt conversation with him, let him know how much you value the fact that he told you what happened , that he respected you , trusted you.
Wishing you love light and peace

i think your bf is a good one to be honest with you. she crossed the line and he has realised that she is not the friend she ought to be. you in no means over reacted. hope your love last forever.
