Before I was to start my period I had a brownish pinkish discharge, then a few days later it would be there when I wiped. It went away for a few day and has come back today, I am probably 1 or 2 days late, but I took a pregnancy test a couple days ago and it was negative. I also had a dream I took a pregnancy test last night..and it was positive.... weird!

I'm not positive, but I would say take another test. If it is still negative and you don't start in the next few days, I'd advise a doctor visit too.

It may have been too early for the hcg hormone to have been detected. I didn't get a positive until 19 dpo, which was yesterday and 6 days after my period was due.
I would leave it a few more days and if you period still hasn't arrived then test again, in the morning. The pregnancy hormone level is higher in you first pee of the day so will be detected easier.
If still negative then see your doc, something else may be causing you not to have a period.

W/ my first pregnancy, the test I took was negative, but I was pregnant. I had a lot of weird dreams, too. W/my second a dream that I had was the reason I knew I was pregnant. Wait a couple weeks then take another test.

did you have unprotected sex?
are you on birthcontrol? if you are and you miss a pill, that can cause breakthrough bleeding that looks like what you descibed. I would wait a week and take another test. try taking it in the morning before you eat or drink anything. the results of that test should be real. either way talk to your doctor.

Take another now! With being two days late it would show now! A couple of days ago, you were probably not far along yet!!!!!!Take another today!!!!!!! You could be pregnant!! it is a possibility you could be and it would be way too soon for a pregnancy test to tell wait 2 weeks and try another one
