No, I don't. I think the parents need to be smarter and use complete protective gear, like the instructions ask!

No it is the parents responsibility to make sure the kids are safe. It's just like roller blades or ice skates or even riding a bike with everything you do in this life could be considered dangerous but with each generation there is the next best gadget or just got to have it toy! You don't HAVE to buy!

and yes my daughter has heelys and she knows she can't wear them to school or in stores with the wheels in and she wears protective gear when she uses them.

No. Should Ford be sued for all the car accidents their drivers caused? Should Budweiser be sued for all the accidents their consumers caused? Its not Heelies causing the accidents.

It is a parental responsibility to care for children. Not the state or governments, and certainly not Heelies. Don't want to be responsible? Wear a rubber and take the pill, better yet just snip it.

Definitely not...there is a warning label right on the package, and the pictures show the kids wearing helmets and knee and elbow pads...which most parents don't make their kids wear, and should. I'm 22 and I bought a pair for myself (wanted to see what all the fuss was about , they are actually a lot of fun...). Kids make it look easy, but they are actually quite difficult to get used to (especially for an old fogey like me, lol). It is a sport that comes with the change to get hurt, same as any other.

NO be real people need to start taking responsibility for their own actions
should the Chef sue the knife company because he cut his own finger (would a company ever be willing to make another knife if that were possible)
what about car accidents should we sue the auto maker because it let a drunk drive the car not one company would make another car would be bankrupt

Yep.Just the same as roller skate & skateboard and bicycle and all those other people who make things that kids get hurt on should! How dare they create a product like that!I think we should lock kids in padded closests so they don't hurt their fragile selves.
No though...that's dumb. It's common sense to know you might injure yourself on something like that.Especially the parents.

Absolutely not. It's a novelty and it should be expected that a shoe with wheels on them might cause some damage.
