My friends dont wear makeup but i like to. What do i say when they ask why i wear makeup?

well, I wear mineral makeup. and, I use makeup to help protect my skin from daily damage from the sun and the environment. imagine having bare skin with all the extracts that come from the air. i would tell your friend that she should start wearing GOOD makeup to help her from aging and to help protect her skin. a lot of GOOD makeup nowadays have vitamins, minerals, and spf in them! good meaning, good and healthy ingredients in them. there's also a difference on piling on bad makeup that has harsh ingredients in them and using good makeup that will only give you good benefits. at the same, makeup makes you feel beautiful. it has great benefits if right products are used!

I respect the fact that you have enough self-confidence to wear make up even though none of your friends are wearing it. If I were in your shoes I might tell them whats so wonderful about makeup and some of the benefits.
Ex) "I wear makeup because I love it. I like bright colors. I like the way your face becomes a canvas for art. I like the way I can look like a totally different person. My mother wears makeup. I think shes very beautiful and I want to look just like her. ( Or whatever the reason) And then offer to give them a makeover or makeup tips if they ever become interested.

I had the comparable subject you probably did, i replaced into SO embarrassed. omg i wear makeup and sometimes my friends are like why do you wear it?! it's annoying because i don't think i'm ugly or anything i just like doing my makeup and i like the way i look with it on. so what you sould say is i only wear makeup because i love doing it and i don't think i'm ugly or anything. hope this works for you. p.s. and if they are mean most likely they are jelous bitches ok. your beautiful! It is part of my routine, and I enjoy it. I like taking the time for myself. It makes me feel good mentally thinking I look good physically. It is how I am. I don't ask why you don't wear underware, or no bra, or why you sleep in a bra, or why you have so many tattoo's or piercings, ect. If they say you are hiding behind a mask, ask them what are they hiding behind the big clothes. Or, I am not hiding, I am enhancing! I bet your friends have worn a push up bra at least once You go girl!
