soak them in acetone... or nailpolish remover with acetone... it should make them all gooey and soften up the glue... then they should come off pretty easily.

The best way is to go back to the place where you got them put on. But if you want to take the time and it will take time, soak you nails in acetone nail polish remover. There are alot of different kinds to choose from, and they say for use to remove acrylic nails. But I gotta tell ya it is gonna take a long time, I know I did it. And they didn't come off evenly and it was a pain. So to be real honest, go get them professionally removed and save your self time and aggravation, trust me!!

Soaking it in Acetone nail polish remover will soften and therefore damage you real nails as well. Get the pure acetone in a bottle soak a cotton ball with it and wrap it around the nail with foil and seal in all openings so the moisture will stay in. The acrylic nail will peel right off in pieces. If it's not coming off easy soak the cotton ball some more. It may have dried up. That's how I did it and my nails are still intact.

The easiest would be to just cut them short and let them grow out on their own. Otherwise, you'll want to set aside an hour or two (or more depending lol) so you can just sit and let them soak in acetone. There is also kits for removing acrylic nails. It's a little container with a sponge inside to you can lightly scrub the nails off, but that can get tiresome. Whatever you do though, resist the urge to pick and pull and yank them off because THAT is what damages your nail underneath.

I had my acrylic nail removed once by peeling them off. It took about 3 minutes, but it was gross and scary. It took the top of my nails off as well. I don't recommend that. Any drug store will have a product for removing fake nails - it will be a tub of acetone with something looking like a turned inside-out sea urchin. It will be called acrylic nail remover. All you do is stick your finger in and move it around - the nails will simply melt away.

If you can stand waiting......TIME! Passing Time. They will just start to fall off by themselves. You will look hideous for awhile as they all do not fall off at once. Just keep tugging and lifting. I found that if they come off naturally there was MUCH less damage to the real nail afterwards. My real nail was stronger and not split.
