Unless your floating on the cloud of permanent brain damage due to the effects of drugs, then I would say we are really here, right now. Were we really here yesterday? I believe I remember myself sitting in this same chair yesterday. But maybe I entered a worm hole and entered into the not really here zone.

I'm not there, but I'm here and since you wrote this in cyberspace, which isn't a place at all, I guess we can't really be here at all. But that doesn't mean that you aren't or weren't really sitting in the room typing on your computer, while I am, or soon will have been, sitting in my livingroom with Mythbusters on my televsion answering questions, because I have a few minutes and for some silly reason I find this relaxing.

Well, this used to actually be thought, until the string theory was formed. We are basically made of atoms, which are made of protons, electrons, and neutrons, which are made of quarks, which is made of electromagnetic energy which is made of nothing. So, it used to be thought that we are not physically here, but mentally here. That's because we see ourselves. Now, the string theory basically says that we are made of strings that are 10^-33 long. There can be no space between the strings, so there you go. Hope this helped.

Try this - Here may be different for everybody. You may be here, but that is not the same as my here. I think it is all about time, time is not a constant, this is not a problem if you are only interested in your time, but if a group starts to try and act as one, the slight time offset in the group may lead to a feeling of out of sink.

Would you prefer to believe that your are two miles west of there and the time is half past now ? If you were here and now and I hit your thumb with a hammer, I think you would get the general idea.

Well I guess that would depend on your view of reality.
Now is a concept we create that says we are where we sense we are in our supposed environment.
So in that sense we are in the "here" and "now," but we could also be in another now.
We could be living in a parallel that we do not sense in this "now" or the other "now."
There, again, it depends on your sense of reality, and
who knows?
You may be able to see another "now" when you take a second glance.

We are just imaginations. Material bodies don't exist , but our perception is not enough to understand. Islamic sufism helps you to start understanding. You must to understand that there is no god , only Allah "La ilahe illallah" Don't imagine a god who sits on the sky! "consciousness" is the purely truth ...
P.C: TJ is right , but you guys should know that you'll find every scientific explanations in Islam. Don't think Islam is Arabic tradition! Not every person Muslim who says he is! Being Muslim is a wise work ;)

We are here now, but twenty seconds into the future. And slightly to the left.
