People always talk about violation I am just curious what people have done to receive them I asked a question about Beer and got one I still don't know why.

No one ever knows why they get violations. They are a joke.

There are various reasons people would report a question or answer as a violation. In your violation email there should be a reason as to why it was reported. If you're still having problems with being reported, try posting a sample and the reason it was reported, and maybe some one can help explain it.

I got a violation for telling a bigot who couldn't spell that he used bama grammer. I guess I offended someone.

I report people who have pornographic avatars (nothing against porn, but it's a public forum with kids watching), suggest that people kill themselves, or advocate beating or murdering others and it doesn't seem like they're joking.
