Let's see, it's the Year 2317... and Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg and Tom Cruise although multi-millionaires, would have become dust to history. Usually, a scientist or leader of some social significance would rise among the throngs alive today. But, that means that they'd actually have to have contributed something vs. just being promoted by the AP for wide-release on morning on Yahoo etc. So... American celebs, eh? (A guy like 50 Cent, Jay-Z or Puffy might become a Carnegie with all their 100s of millions...before they are through (and 30 years from now, after their 20th comeback could be embarassed into actually help turning-around the cycle of ignorance/poverty of inner city projects, etc.) Pam Anderson's implants may still be alive and doing another Playboy spread at that time... you know, I'm going to say that Hugh Hefner's role in the tree-trunk of 50's magazine porn, that became internet porn... might be well-known in 300 years?

Definitely the king, Elvis Presley for good reason. He is the king of rock and roll. Michael Jackson for scandalous reasons. I think there must be a book out that names all the celebrities that made their mark. The book, if saved by someone and handed down in the family, will state these people and why they made an impact on American entertainment business.

I was looking for the perfect human specimen throughout time. I found him at the beginning of the Millennium. A Gemini by the name of John Christopher Depp the Second (also known as Johnny Depp, an actor of some talent and nice bone structure with the perfect infratip lobule and protuberant tip-defining point).
I traveled thought time, secured his DNA (morphing into a cleaning lady but it was worth it), and now my son is five years old in the year 2307 and he knows that his father was a "celebrity" 300 years ago. (he loves those Pirates movies).

Well some of the greatest Americans who should be remembered 300 years from now would be Robert Kennedy, because first of all he was a great man, and he really did try to change the world especially when he backed the civil rights issue. It might have made him enemies with people like the KKK, but Robert was the man, and my hero. Along with Howard Hughe s the aviator who created the "Hercules a flying boat, and made many great contributions to aviation. Ralph Waldo Emerson, the transcendentalist, and philosopher who wrote "Self-Reliance" which is about thinking for yourself, and learning lessons from life. Sylvia Plath for her great poetry especially her poem "Daddy.", and of course the great Martin Luther King Jr. who fought for civil rights for blacks

I would definantly say Richard Branson. He owns the Virgin Mobile, also did a reality show and is launching the first civilians into space (if thats how you say it). He's also been widely known for his adventurous ways. People will remember him and his name will be read aloud by children in history classes 300 years from now, if we still have books by then.

I would guess Clint Eastwood, Tiger Woods, all of the Beatles, Mick Jagger, John Wayne to name a few. Anyone who was famous for their craft plus other areas that stood out. Or even crushed sport records.
