5.75 and no way who can live on that thats even below our poverty line in ny state

The minimum wage in Washington DC is $7.00/hr and I would die if I made that much even when I was teenage I made more then $7/hr. I wouldn't get out of my bed for less then 12/hr (and that's not a lot of money). But on the other hand since the cost of living is SOOO high out here they pay us better.

5.15 in texas. i could never accept a minimum wage job, i make almost twice that now, and i'm still struggling supporting my kids and paying my bills.

$5.15 KY and i only get 5.25 now but with commission and tip its more like 15.00-20.00
