Neither....this can be a gray area.

Although education greatly improves your ODDS of gaining better paying employment [depending on the arena you choose] it does not guarantee it.

The individual must have more than education. He/she must have the skills/desire/motivation to APPLY what he/she has learned. [Ever heard of educated couch potatoes? Believe me they exist]

AND if you mean by educated , formal schooling, that leaves out the skilled trades such as plumbers and electricians for instance who make VERY good money vs say, someone who has a BA degree in HIsotry.............and can not figure how to apply that degree.

In general, education (in whatever form) helps you not to make mistakes and gain from others experience. Which leads to better productivity.

But, poor rarely are given an opportunity to exercise their knowledge. Wealthy people are either born rich (majority) or worked extremely hard. Education helped on the way, but was not decisive.

Yes, just like educated middle class and upper class means more productivity. the problem is in the opportunities that are afforded each monetary class. better funds will always equal better, well just about everything. i still say yes to your question because from vocational school to Yale higher education should always equal more productivity.

it is the drive inside a man that makes him productive if this drive is not there he well never be productive .if educating the poor would make them more productive then they would make more money and not be poor .unless they have no drive

Yes.
I believe you mean producing results do you? I believe productivity means working towards achieving something and getting it and if you achieve that it means you have become productive. Educated people are very productive though this does not mean that uneducated people are not productive.

Not necessarily. (Education & Productivity are not straightway related most of the times - productivity depends on so many factors)
