I received a "C" a few yrs. back and it brought my GPA down. Since then however, I've earned A's & some B's, but my GPA is going up ever so S L O W L Y. Could it be because I take only one course @ a time with 3 credits ea.? How important is the GPA anyway?

The system is set up to screw you.
One low grade brings down averages and its hard to recover.
Just keep at it.

A GPA is not a specific percentage it is a range of percentages. So even if you are earning A's and B's, it may be taking more time to go up because you still fall into a category that would place you at for example a 3.0.

Or another way of thinking about it is. If you get a 91% on somethin it is considered an A+ , if you get 100% on something it is still an A+. That's what I mean by categories.

It is very important if you are going for a major and for a good job they look at your GPA. You need to take two or three classes to get your GPA going up Faster.Ihope this helps, Good Luck.

Very, it's just below connections. You might want to try and retake the course and replace the grade with A or B, that'll help.
