this is my first time with any kind of blog setup.I assumed that I would get answers to my questions on how to get traffic to my web site instead I have loads of questions from other blog users in my outlook inbox asking me about things I know nothin about . There are 55 million blogs out there according to Technorati. With this number, you need to create something that will make the blog stand out -- unique content, witty musings, irreverent humor or something that will attract visitors to your blog. It is not automatic that once you create a blog, visitors will come in. You can create a blog that nobody cares to visit
The first step is to think of what content you will put in there and how often are you going to post in new content. Blog readers want fresh content, so you need to have some sort of a schedule when you put in new post (and not put in a post in Jan then post again in March).
Find out what tools you can use to market and promote your business. Feedburner http://www.feedburner.com has several tools that can help you promote your blog. And they're free.

Yep. You should be concerned. Blogs are read by all sorts of folks including the TV Media. I would be very careful of how you draft and publish your blogs if you intend to write on these subjects. I would most definitely add disclaimers including your investing experience and whether or not you have had any training. Regarding the wording of these disclaimers - you may want to have a Legal adviser look it over before you launch your blog so that no one tries to come back to haunt you for their loses. In addition, if you want to link charts from over sites, I believe you will need to get permission when you do so. Especially if you're linking from the major stock exchange websites. but maybe yahoo will let you link up with no issues. Checking doesn't hurt before you start. Good Luck with your blog !

First you need to set up a profile and invite some friends.
Most people won't accept an invite if you don't have a profile.
Once you have friends you will gain more friends.
You write a blog and your friends and friends of friends or the public if allowed will visit you, they will comment on your blog etc.
