In a recent article in USA TODAY i read that the Americans are fast becoming the best at everything,I read in amazement how they have won in recent years the world pie eating championship,world trouser splitting championship and the corverted world most gullible championship.Come on Americans keep it up chaps

Notice you don't say where you are from, but that's ok to be ashamed.
I am guessing it's a country that heavily depends on the US for support/money or protection.

That was good for laughs. Indeed Americans are very good (if not the best) in a lot of positive things. However, they are also the best in some negative things. If I say they are the best because of so many different nationalities blended over there, then some will probably say the bad aspects also come from those "foreigners". Remember, your great great grandfathers were also "foreigners" or "aliens" when they first arrived in America. Americans are very good in music, sports, space technology (lots of foreign engineers) etc. And also at being obese, being the worst consumers in the world, spending like there is no tomorrow, overthrowing democratically elected governments in other countries, designing weapons of mass (or part) destruction and using them on other people, etc. etc.
However, I should rephrase my above sentences and say "some Americans", because I know most of them are good, honest and caring people. They just do not know much about the outside world.

yes the American are the best on too many aspect and poor you guy again America that think you have all the true on your minds but guest what you are a group of idiot take everything those new from Europe or from those anti-America around the world said.
i know there are a lot mistake made by our president but you know that they are a lot of American people fighting for what you think is correct and every time one of these country where you are from have any mayor catastrophe you know what the America people from their wallet take money to help while when anything happen to the American people you guy are happy that is the different between the all world and America people.
the governor is one thing and the people are other but don't worry like the UK people they hate American people wait soon the muslin people going to be governing there then they will love America.

Americans used to be the best. The best at manufacturing, the best of caring for others, the best at fighting wars, etc.
Now it is plain we are no longer the best. We are just part of the world crowd. Most Americans do not care about the plight of others here or anywhere else, don't care about the environment, don't care about animal rights, don't care how the rest of the world views us, don't care we are losing our jobs and our rights.
I believe we have become too diluted too fast with too many immigrants that don't have 'American' Values. and want a quick dollar and an easy life and believe they don't really have to work for it. That all they need is just given to them when they get here.

It's because their definition of the 'world' involves only them. For example, look at their World Series in baseball - it only has the US in it. How can it be a world series? I'm sure therefore if more countries other than US entered these types of events then they too would stand a chance of winning.
There are also a couple of events at which the UK will excel - world's best at ironic sarcasm may be one.

They are the best at several things, more than you mentioned. like.....
Bomb making skills (to be giving away and used against them!)
Bombing in general (like all the British and coalition forces!)
Marrying ones cousin (i think they are on par with some elite Muslim family's here, try harder yanks!)
Hate! don't forget hate, oh no sorry, again i think they are on par with the Muslims when hating homosexuals.
